Two dudes blog on cyber security and everything in-between

The idea behind Hacking Corner formed between two friends who meet in college as a simple way to keep in touch. Rather than just a drunk idea it stated out as we needed a place to share what we’re working on — the cool stuff we try, the lessons learned, the tools we find helpful, and maybe even the random side hustles we attempt along the way.

It started as my personal outlet, then I dragged my friends into it. So it is our hope that in our mix of casual posts, mini-guides, project logs, experiments, and other shenanigans that you find something helpful to you.

What should you expect out of this blog? We are usually busy like most individuals. Most of us don’t have hours a day to go deep on a topic, but we still find time here and there to mess with AI tools, home networks, scripts, 3D prints, or cyber security experiments. This site is for those in-between moments — the kind of stuff shared between two friends over a discord server, but with you getting to watch where it all goes and the tom foolery along the way.

What you’ll probably find here:

  • Cybersecurity tinkering — logs, alerts, blue-team tools, and experiments
  • AI tools we found useful at work (not just hype)
  • IT tips, weird fixes, and things from the day job grind
  • Home lab setups, VLAN configs, Proxmox notes, etc.
  • 3D print finds — sorry we’re not pro 3d designers nothing new here
  • Side hustle attempts (and honest breakdowns of how they go)

Whether you’re just reading along or want to share something down the road, we’re glad you found the corner.
